Chances For More
04/01/03 |
The drafting of the wind
as it comes and goes,
traveling through our universe
from time to time.
The lightness of the wind against our cheeks,
soft like a feather as it brushs pass,
peaceful and relaxing for the present time,
as the wind wraps us in its arms,
like a mother taking care of its baby.
The numbers in out world fly pass with a wink,
everyone around us changing and growing up,
from a little kid who use to whine and cry,
to a grown up who is mature and serious.
Some grows up and takes a path into the light
with a destiny and dream in their mind,
while others with a soul of sadness
wonders the earth like a shadow of darkness,
until they find their own path into heaven.
As the wind drifts again,
time goes with it,
so forget about your past,
and think of the beautiful future in which you could make.
Never give up hope,
for your future is in your hand,
enjoy the time you have now,
and be thankful for it.

Which Is You?
07/06/03
|
Black, blue, gray,
Colors of sadness.
Yellow, pink, red,
Colors of happiness
Which color are you?
Yellow with a hint of hope?
A face of many words you are,
A face of many secrets you keep,
A person of many feelings you have.
Which color are you?
The color gray?
As of staying to be a pray
Of the night?
A loner you are,
An outsider of one.
A person of all colors?
Is that possible?
People say there is no
Such word as impossible,
So a person of all colors
Is real as can be,
Just hard to find
In a world like this.
Look hard around you,
And you will see people
Of many kinds,
Which one is you?

Bit Of Hope
01/12/04 |
Deep in the tunnel
Surrounded by my own loneliness,
There I think back
Into all my memories of sadness.
Always walking, and thinking
Wondering one day if I would
Ever reach the end of the tunnel.
If I would once see the light again.
Having been in there for so long.
Didn't known if there was a
Point anymore. all I wanted
To do was give up forever.
Upon my face, I felt warmness.
Looking up I saw only a small spark
But big enough for me to see
And have hope once again in my soul.

The Yellowish Glow
01/03/05 |
You stand there alone
with a smile upon your face
You were but a stranger then,
with a simple smile upon your face
The yellowish and glowing
Of the light that you gave off.
The darkness that’s broken
When you simply smile.
glowing as bright as the morning sun.
The one to guide me when the sun comes up,
The morning rays that dance upon you,
You shine your brightness to show me my path.
You are as comforting as the warmness
of a blanket on a winter night.
The one to take me in after nightfall.
You were a friend, but also a enemy.
Like a bird you fly into my life,
But knowing one day you would fly away.
The closeness of you gives off
The freshness of the morning air.
You smile as bright as the morning sun.
Wish I may, wish I might,
To stay by you tonight.
A true friend you are, through
Day ‘till night.
With the yellowish glow that surrounds
only you.

Departure
09/21/06 |
As the shades fall.
A flow of colors come.
Red, blue, and black.
No sound is heard except to one ear.
Flashes of images appear.
The smiles, the jokes, and the tears
from too much laughter.
The pains, the jokes, the arguments
from too much stupidity.
Through the cracks something escapes.
Without knowing why this time.
One simple color appears outside.
The flow of clear reflecting water.
Breaking free and falling.
Through much struggle these shades
are lifted and the truth appears.
He is gone once again...until next year.

Letting Go
11/10/06 |
Watching you
so far yet so near
it seems like I can just
reach out n touch ya.
but I knew better.
both of us from diff places
you from yours
and I from mine.
all this time,
I wonder what I should do.
in the shadows I hid
was there ever a chance?
I kept on watching...
but deep in my heart
I knew...
that was it.
the time has come,
with the rays of lights
that once held my hope
it was now gone.
the freedom of the summer
was over, the mistakes of
the past was to be forgotten.
and you the one I loved, also...
